Our library media center operates on a flex/fixed schedule. With teacher permission, students can come to check out books on their own during any of the open checkout times. In addition, each class is scheduled for a weekly checkout time. Research lessons and other fun activities can be scheduled on an as-needed basis. |
Books are overdue after two weeks but can be renewed if needed. If a book is overdue, no other books can be checked out by the student until that book is returned. If a book is lost or is returned significantly damaged, the library staff will send home a note with the cost of the item to be replaced. Please take good care of your library books. We understand that sometimes the unexpected happens. It pains us to send home replacement cost notes, but it's our job to make sure that Waccamaw Elementary continues to have a wonderful assortment of books on our shelves for years to come.
